Her time at Michigan allowed her the opportunity to explore the wide field of dentistry and its specialties, including general dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and beyond. She enjoys the continued relationship with patients and their families, working together for better oral health over time, and connecting oral health to overall health. She is compassionate and empathetic, and she strives toward making the dental office a welcoming, comfortable place for her patients.
Dr. McKenzie is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. In the past, she has not only worked with underserved patients in Michigan, but has also volunteered to provide dental services abroad.
Dr. McKenzie was born and raised in the Keweenaw Peninsula, where she attended Michigan Technological University for her undergraduate studies. Growing up on Lake Superior made her always want to be near one of the Great Lakes. Since moving to Saginaw, she has enjoyed exploring Lake Huron's shoreline parks and the area's long history. She spends her free time bicycling, doing CrossFit, exploring the outdoors, and snowboarding.
